What materials do you use to make your earrings?

Oh, I'm so glad you asked because this is honestly one of my favourite things to talk about! Every single earring starts with a surgical-grade stainless steel (316) base, so you know they're built to last. I coat each piece with a white water-based paint first, and once that's looking fresh and smooth, the real fun begins! I hand-paint every piece using alcohol inks (hello, gorgeous colour!) and seal it all in with a clear resin coating to keep your art protected and looking beautiful for years to come.

Now for the bit your ears will love: every pair comes with either sterling silver .925 or 14kt gold-filled ear wires, both of which are hypoallergenic and super friendly for sensitive ears. You'll always find which one is used listed in each product description, so no guessing games. Promise!

Are your earrings heavy?

Short answer: nope! One of the things my customers comment on most is just how light and comfortable my earrings are to wear all day long. That said, every shape is a little different and everyone's ears have their own opinion, so I've included the average weight for each pair right there in the product description. Just a heads up that the weight can vary ever so slightly depending on how much resin each piece gets during the finishing process. No nasty surprises though, I promise!

How do I care for my earrings?

Taking care of your pretties is super easy, I promise! First things first, pop them back into the jewelry box they came in after each wear as this is the best way to keep them looking gorgeous for as long as possible. Don’t store it in direct sunlight to avoid discolouration of the ink & resin. Keep it away from harsh products, especially anything that could come into contact with the resin.

To clean them, just give them a gentle wipe with a damp cloth and they'll be good as new! One thing I'd recommend is taking them off before jumping in the shower or pool since you really want to avoid leaving them sitting in water for too long.

Oh, and one last little tip! Your ear wires or posts are made from sterling silver or 14kt gold, which are beautifully soft metals, so just handle them with a little love and care to keep them from bending. Treat them well and they'll be your new favourite accessories for years to come!

Can I return my earrings?

As much as I wish I could say yes to everything, earrings unfortunately can't be returned due to hygiene reasons. That said, I put so much love and care into every single pair and want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so if something isn't right please don't hesitate to reach out and we'll figure it out together!
